1. They advertise you get 19$ promotional rate. I did not get that , they claim my grass was. More than 9 in tall. Not true. It’s been very hot , grass not growing fast.
2. Not reliable. Their pro don’t come on scheduled date. I was in my car when pro came. They scanned my area then left. Don’t know why . You’ll be left hanging. They said they will look for another pro which will take another 48 hours , then they will charge you more because your grass is too long.
Don’t know why it matters if the grass is tall. As if the grass is 1 yr tall.
3. It’s better to directly. Deal with pro and not thru broker.

I didn't realize when I reached out to them that they are not actually a lawn company - they are a web service like Task Rabbit or Thumbtack but just for lawn care. However, unlike those services, they don't let you choose your provider. They just keep rotating through assignments until they get one that shows up.
Our first schedule didn't show and so they at the very end of the day (about 5:45 p.m.), they sent us a message that our provider was overscheduled and they would be out the next day. The next day we got a message that our provider had been updated to a different provider but no one showed up. Finally, on Sunday, someone came. The next week was the exact same thing. They are above top dollar for our area and not only does the service level not match, they ask for a TIP on top of it all - makes the total $25.00 more per week than any other quote we have received. We committed to 3 mows and then we will be moving on.

As reported earlier, Jonas is great. He regularly does a great job on our lawn and more recently trimmed some of our hedges to perfection. He’s friendly and listens close to my comments. He gets here on time and leaves the yard neater and cleaner than it was on arrival.

This is the most unprofessional company I have dealt with in a long time. They were originally suppose to come out on 8/6/26 but didn't show up until 8/11/26. I asked them to weed my garden, instead they tore up all of my plants and left it bare. They also destroyed an $100 plus Rabbit Gardent Statue. I complained to them with pictures and they quoted me at $500 price tag to replace the flowers in my garden they destroyed. I refuse and made a claim with them. The company offered me a $60 credit and no credit for the lawn statue. I offered before & after photos AND their own Pro's estimate and that is all they offered. Stay far away from them.

The service was simple to set up, and I’m extremely happy with my lawn care!

My pro Juan always does a great job. They are here on time every time, and don't stop the task until it's complete. My yard looks very well manicured, and the crew is professional and courteous. I am so glad to have found them.

They came when the were scheduled and did a really good job. One of the reasons I left the last company was they kept changing the people. It meant I had to keep giving instructions over and over. So far so good!

Horrible service my Pro cancel four times because of the rain, this is understandable, however when it didn't rain he canceled. Changed Pro they scheduled three Pro after I canceled the no show Pro and each one went sent didn't cut the grass for whatever reason. So now my grass grow over 9 inches because the lack of service for the past six weeks. Sometimes being price reasonable is not worth it. It now cost me 250.00 to get my grass cut. No yourself a favor and save disappointment DO NOT USE LAWN START SERVICE.

Dalton showed up within 3 hours of being paired with my lawn. I definitely was not expecting immediate service which was super dope of Dalton. He’s a gentleman and a scholar in my book.

So easy to get the service you need. We‘re happy with the service and the app is super helpful to stay connected, change mowing schedule and brows through other services. Also the price is good for the property we have.

I have been using LawnStarter this Summer and so far I have been very pleased! They have been on time, yard looked amazing, everything was neatly done and in a timely manner! I do recommend them as a great lawncare company . Ann Carroll

this was the third cut by this new company so far I am pleased with the cut and the on schedule timelyness.

I like how well the job was completed, and cleanup was well done. I would suggest that communication with the pro could be improved. I also felt that the job I booked was put on a back burner because it was cancelled and rescheduled multiple times by the pro. However, I would use again.

AVOID LawnStarter! "You're joking right" - Tyler from Florida's Finest Lawn Maintenance, though the LawnStarter app. That was in response to me asking when he was coming. Then he claimed I had 2 foot grass. I sent him pictures of my grass - it's more like I had 2 inches. Then he said my supposed 2 foot grass wasn't documented in the app - obviously trying to cheat me on top of wasting my time. Now I'm getting the runaround from customer service - I've been on with them all morning asking for a supervisor. AVOID

Reliability

Christian has always done a great job on my lawn. He is very professional and efficient at what he does. I love a good looking lawn and appreciate his help keeping my lawn looking so good.

Very professional company. The tech comes when they say he will be here. He does a great job too! Also, the communication is consistent and great!
