This is a -Zero star review......for this company! HPL sold my daughter a vehicle by falsely stating that it had a full service history, setting aside all the issues the vehicle had, we had to personally pay for a Mercedes specialist to review the vehicle and produce a report to HPL for confirmation, this isn't the first vehicle, she originally bought an Audi from them which equally had a list of issues that they didn't repair, they agreed to take the vehicle back, and she then purchased the Mercedes. This has had issues since driving away, along with the false information of a full service history. They yesterday agreed to take the vehicle back, but have now closed the case without getting agreeance from my daughter that she accepts what they propose, so they have not refunded her £2500 deposit and have not refunded the finance payments made, so she is over £4000 out of pocket. I would highly suggest nobody buys a vehicle from this cowboy set up, the staff are rude, and there is no communication from them unless you hound them, not to mention they lie about the vehicle to get the sale!!!! The finance company have already opened an investigation against JHPL, and we are now opening one with The Motor Ombudsman as this is nothing but a disgrace

Sara at Preston branch was so helpful from start to finish of the process Sara listened to our needs and as an older customer helped with documentation and navigating my mobile phone ! Great experience with Arjun from HPL motors. We came in on Wednesday afternoon looking for a new car. By Thursday evening, I had driven away in a car I was so pleased with. Arjun helped us all of the way through the process providing advice, guidance and reassurance. There were a few hiccups while trying to get the sale through so quickly, but the team rectified them quickly. Special thanks to Arjun as well for valeting the car himself so that I could pick it up that very next evening. Would definitely recommend!!

Arrived today 25/07/26..at HPL Preston.to test drive a car we had reserved..jack who was dealing with our enquiries greeted us ..asked if we'd like a coffee/ hot drink or water ...very helpful sorting out paperwork..took car for test drive ..all good ..bought the car ..a lovely Mercedes gla ...they had cleaned it inside and out to a high standard... altogether a great service ..quick easy and very helpful...thank you

Mike Agyei-King is a wonderful person and a sale man who attended to us properly and paid attention to our needs and also has custimer best interest at heart.

Mathew was absolutely brilliant knowledgeable about the car we were interested in friendly and super professional talking us through all stages of what HPL had to offer Negative side we had to walk across the showroom to meet the manager who was sat at his desk.Never had to do this before felt uncomfortable. There is no negotiation with the manager Dillan .We asked if they could drop the price by £500 which flatly refused (all this whilst Mathew was going back and forth to the managers desk again this felt uncomfortable)The manager didn't once approach our desk to apologise or explain why it was a flat refusal. Just left it to Mathew who kept his usual standard of proffesionalism throughout THANK YOU MATHEW if it wasnt for you HPL would have lost a sale. My personal experience with the manager being so aloof and superior left me feeling like our custom was not important to him. We have always changed our cars every 2 to 3 years but I am afraid we won't return to HPL
