We were shown a house by Joao on Saturday and we all were very impressed with his knowledge of the property and the way in which he allowed us to look at the house but stayed on hand to answer our questions. We have seen many houses and Joao was by far the best agent who showed us a property. It made a big difference to our viewing experience but many estate agents don’t seem to put any value on the person who shows the property. Not Hockeys. When we put up the property for sale in April '25, we had chosen the nearest Agent as they recommended a higher value for the property.
In September I Called Philip Dickinson from Hockeys for his advice as no enquireys even after lowering the price.
Philip was super, had a photographer around within a week and we were now selling with Hockey.
We had 3 offers by end of October, introduced to Joao who took the raigns.
The buyer was taking too much time in my eyes but with advice from Joao to stay with the buyer, the contracts have now been exchaged, completion is tomorrow and as its Easter, happy bunnies all round.
