Solicitors can often get a bad rap for cumbersome processes, poor comms and unwarranted delays so it came as welcome surprise that the service we received for our sale transaction from Glover Priest in the guise of Harmandeep Atwal and Kimberly Marshall was exemplary in all respects; particularly noteworthy were the timely status updates all leading to a seamless transaction, thank you, definitely recommended.

Using Glover Priest as our solicitors for purchasing a flat went very well. All staff are very professional and most helpful.

I honestly cannot fault the service I received from Jordan and Chloe throughout what turned out to be an incredibly difficult and stressful property sale.

They were professional, supportive, responsive and consistently proactive throughout the entire process. Despite the numerous complications and ongoing difficulties caused by the buyers’ solicitors, they did everything they could to keep things moving, chase for updates and push for progress.

I always felt they were doing everything within their power to get the sale over the line, and I cannot thank them enough for their patience, hard work and perseverance. Selling a property is stressful enough without all the additional complications we experienced, and having two people who genuinely cared and continued to fight my corner made a huge difference.

I had a very frustrating experience dealing with GloverPriest during a property purchase process. I was left in the dark for most of the transaction, never truly knowing what was happening or where things stood. Every email took 1 to 2 weeks to get a reply, and whenever I did get a response from their digital portal, it was completely generic. It got to the point where I was afraid to ask any basic questions because I was worried that chasing them would only delay my process even further.

The overall management was extremely disjointed, driven by frequent changes in case handlers and a total lack of proactive communication. It was only after a critical issue was uncovered—unauthorized alterations to the property lacking freeholder consent—that matters came to a head, ultimately leading to a formal complaint regarding disputed fees and service quality. While the firm did eventually resolve the account balance following my complaint, the overall level of service, transparency, and client care fell well short of professional standards. I would not recommend their conveyancing services.

Extremely disappointing service. GloverPriest acted on behalf of my sister for the sale of her house. The process was extremely slow with a complete lack of communication culminating in a switch of solicitor in the week leading up to Contract Completion. On the day of Completion we were informed that the funds were received and with the accounts team to make the necessary payment. And we waited, and waited, and kept ringing - and were continuously told it was in hand and funds would be transferred ……… until the end of the day and we then told that the Contract could not be Completed as there was a query with the funds. My sisters couldn’t move into their new property as they couldn’t exchange without the money so the furniture had to go to storage and they had to find somewhere to stay overnight. No offer of assistance from GloverPriest, other than “get a hotel”. The following morning, we did receive a phone call early on to say the bank had carried out a spot check delaying the Completion but had released the money and it was with the accounts team to sort out payments. (Funny that - so they hadn’t received it the day before!). The funds were finally paid out late afternoon despite continuous phone calls by my sister to find out why it was taking so long. They even broke for lunch during this time - my sister was on the verge of a nervous breakdown and hadn’t eaten or slept for 2 nights as she was sick with worry. We’ve asked for a full explanation of why this happened; but the poor communication and inconsistencies in information is completely unacceptable.

Balqees and Michael handled a complex sale and Adverse Possession case for us and kept us informed and updated all the time. They were fantastic through the whole process. Highly recommended.

I used the quinton branch for conveyancing as a first time buyer. I found Hannah and her team very helpful in answering any questions, so I understood the process more clearly. The process took a little longer than anticipated, but due to the party selling but Lisa kept in contact to keep me updated on any progress.

Very slow and they have many trainee solicitors so they taking too long to verify from their seniors. They are okay but if you are in time line please AVOID.
