Freya & Thor offers Swedish handmade, sleek & minimalistic jewellery, taking inspiration from Norse Mythology. The brand was founded in April 2017, with an ambition to offer modern bracelets, necklaces, earrings & rings with a unique design. The Hammer Mjölner became our first Collection, & symbol for protecting the world against inequality, pollution & other threats of the modern world. In 2020 we designed and launched the second main collection out of inspiration from Freya and her tales. Out of deep affection & longing for her husband, travelling the world during long times, she cried Golden Tears the tales tells. The Tear drop became our symbol of deep love in the Tear of Freya Collection. Freya’s second Collection saw it’s light in 2022 – “Lynx of Freya”, designed based on the trust, loyalty & devotion the wild cats showed Freya, helping her pull her chariot whenever travelling somewhere. We not only aspire for people to wear our products and look good, but we also hope you as a wearer will strive to defend our world from poverty, pollution and other for our world evil things, just as Thor did. Thanks for letting us know that it arrived safely in the end, and thank you for your positive feedback about the bracelet itself. Shipping in Italy is definitely a challenge, we will - based on your input - note this challenge to Italian customers. It is tricky for us to change the shipping setup that we use for all other countries, based on that it isn't fully working in an individual country. The more radical solution is to say "no thank you" to customers in certain areas, which we don't want to do either.
Yet again, thank you for letting us know, and we will always make sure to point out the shipping challenge to Italy, parts of Spain, the Middle East in general, most parts in Africa, South America. These are the areas/countries where we have experienced difficulties.

Tråkigt att höra att du inte är nöjd. Hur hammaren görs står på produktbeskrivningen och handlar om två perspektiv - 1. att funktionen och bärandet inte skulle fungera med en solid hammare, det skulle bli på tok för tungt och armbandet skulle omgående vrida sig så att hammaren hamnade på insida handled, istället för på ovansidan. 2. utifrån kostnadsperspektiv, materialet (det högkvalitativa återvunna Sterling Silver 935) som vi använder gör att materialkostnaden skulle bli cirka 3 gånger så hög. Med tanke på att vi redan idag har tighta marginaler så skulle vi aldrig kunna hålla ett så pass bra pris med solitt material. Men huvudanledningen är funktionen, det skulle helt enkelt inte bli bra med en för tung hammare.

Where to start? The item arrived and I was amazed how small the package was. The bracelet bears little resemblance to the photographs in the advertisement except for the colour. Flimsy and insubstantial, very thin metal `hammer` or `anchor` on what can only be described as a thin shoelace. Which would be fine if it were not for the price which even with the discount amounts to 51GBP. Certainly not value for money by any stretch of the imagination. I shall give it to a child on the street, certainly not for a man! We learn by our mistakes.

We are very sad to read this review - of course. We shoot all our product pictures with the same pieces that goes to customers, we have no intention of showing something that doesn't exist - of course. Customer satisfaction is our number on focus.
The bracelet has been handmade, using recycled sterling silver 935, not made in a machine in a country far-away not giving their employees fair working conditions. We have worked on the "balance" of the piece, so that the hammer doesn't risk getting too heavy, which would also risk getting it to "twist around" the wrist.
We are of course happy to reimburse you or receive the piece back if you believe that we have done something wrong. Please contact us at: support@thorofsweden.com and we take it from there.
