Ich bin durch Zufall auf die Seite von Dentakay Istanbul geraten und habe eine Anfrage für eine Implantat Zahnbehandlung über die Internetseite angefragt.
Ich erhielt nach kurze Zeit ein Angebot von Herrn Felix von Dentakay. Über ihn wurde alles super organisiert - ich hatte Flug und Hotel schon selbst gebucht-. Felix war der Dreh- und Angelpunkt der Planung bis zur Abholung am Flughafen und Transfer in mein Hotel. Es erfolgte eine Weitegabe aller Infos an den deutschsprachigen Betreuer Yusuf in der Klinik. Innerhalb von 3 Tagen mit Untersuchung, Behandlung und Einsatz des Provisoriums war die Erstbehandlung erledigt. Alles von Organisation bis Behandlung super super. Fühle mich mit dem festen Provisorium sehr gut und sicher. Freue mich auf die Abschlußbehandlung in 4 Monaten.

Zweiter Besuch bei Dentakay

Ich war nun bereits zum zweiten Mal bei Dentakay und bin erneut äußerst zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis. Trotz des hohen Patientenaufkommens bei meinem zweiten Besuch lief die Planung und Koordination reibungslos und sehr gut organisiert ab.
Das verwendete Material für meinen Zahnersatz ist von hervorragender Qualität, und meine behandelnde Ärztin arbeitete äußerst professionell und einfühlsam. Ich habe mich jederzeit bestens aufgehoben gefühlt.
Ich kann Dentakay mit bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen und würde mich jederzeit wieder für diesen Schritt entscheiden. Hier bekommt wirklich jeder sein Lächeln zurück.

Where do I even begin

Where do I even begin? I went to Dentakay for veneers. After taking my X-rays, they told me everything looked fine and that I did NOT need a root canal. Then after starting the work, they suddenly claimed I needed THREE root canals or it would “affect the veneers” and cause future problems. They pushed hard for me to do them and even offered to do the root canals for free.

I agreed, and now here we are… it’s May 11th and every single root canal they did on April 29th STILL hurts. I’ve called and left messages every day, and nobody has returned my calls.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. I’ve been on pain medication ever since I left Dentakay. It is NOT safe or normal to take pain meds every single day just to be able to eat.

At this point, I truly feel like I never needed those root canals in the first place. It seems like everyone who goes to Dentakay suddenly “needs” a root canal or extraction just to end up with a cheap bridge. This whole experience has been painful, stressful, and unacceptable.

Nicht gerade gut

Beim 2. Besuch wurde leider auf die Rechnung die nicht passte eingegangen. Der Begleitflug von meinem Sohn wurde berechnet obwohl er im Kostenvoranschlag im Preis war wurde auf fasten geschoben und mir wurde versichert das sich darum gekümmert wird und ich das Geld zurück bekomme. 2 Monate später immer noch nichts gehört. Nachdem die Rechnung gezahlt wurde ist der Herr der die Rechnung gestellt hat sehr arrogant geworden. Die Planung war eine totale Katastrophe hervorheben möchte ich die Ärztin ihr Team und mein Betreuer Furkan der sich sehr bemüht hat alles hinzu bekommen.Ich würde es eher nicht weiterempfehlen da es sehr stressig und ärgerlich war.

From the very beginning, my experience with Dentakay Nish Clinic has been nothing short of outstanding. I travelled for a full-mouth transformation with upper and lower All-on-X treatment using Nobel Biocare implants with immediate temporary teeth, and from day one I felt I was in safe, experienced hands.

What impressed me straight away was their honesty, professionalism, and genuine care for their patients. My final treatment cost actually came in lower than originally planned, which showed real integrity and that patient care comes before anything else.

Throughout my entire journey, the team at Dentakay Nish Clinic were always in contact, checking in regularly, answering every question quickly, and making me feel supported every step of the way. Travelling abroad for such life-changing treatment can feel daunting, but their communication and organisation made everything so much easier.

The dentists, surgeons, coordinators, and every member of staff were incredibly professional, caring, and attentive. Having multiple extractions followed by upper and lower full-arch implant treatment in one session is a huge step, but the way they explained everything and looked after me gave me complete confidence.

I’m genuinely so grateful to the whole Dentakay Nish Clinic team for changing my smile and my confidence. I’m already excited to come back for my final teeth, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dentakay Nish Clinic to anyone considering full-mouth implant treatment.

I cannot wait for my finals

I would like to share my recent…

I would like to share my recent experience at your clinic.

Communication with your assistant via WhatsApp prior to my visit was very good, and everything seemed well-organised. However, upon arrival, my experience was disappointing.

At reception, the administrator was not welcoming and came across as rude, which made me feel uncomfortable from the start.

I had travelled specifically for implant treatment, which had been agreed in advance. After waiting for several hours, I was taken for an X-ray and examination. At that point, the doctor informed me that an implant would not be possible and instead suggested a bridge. This was unexpected and should have been clarified before my travel.

I explained to Mahmoud( I am not sure about this assistant name) that I needed time to discuss this decision with my father and my boyfriend, who was with me. At the same time, Mahmoud mentioned that we might need to change our flight tickets, as the bridge treatment could take five working days. However, later that same evening, the doctor said the treatment would be completed the next day. This inconsistency was frustrating, especially as travel plans had been agreed in advance.

After this discussion, Mahmoud disappeared, and we were left waiting again for a long time just to confirm that we agreed to proceed with treatment. Eventually, Kamil stepped in and helped us, and things started moving more efficiently. Kamil was absolutely professional and care about people.

The following day, the doctor completed the treatment. I am happy with the final result and appreciate the doctor’s work.

However, I am not satisfied with the overall service. The clinic appeared extremely busy, and it seemed you were handling more patients than you could manage. Waiting times were excessive and poorly managed.

Additionally, my father, who had treatment at your clinic two years ago (for which he paid £11,000), came for a check-up. We were previously told via WhatsApp that no appointment was needed. However, due to how busy the clinic was, he was not seen at all. This was very disappointing, especially considering the time and money spent to travel for aftercare.

While I appreciate the quality of the dental work, the organisation, communication, and patient care need significant improvement.

I hope you take this feedback seriously and work on improving your service.

Best dental clinic in Turkey

I’ve had a good experience.
From the beginning, communication with the agency—particularly Clay—was very good. He was consistently helpful, kept in regular contact, and remained supportive even while I was at the clinic undergoing procedures. That level of communication was truly appreciated.
Transport was not always perfectly organised. While there were some improvements during my stay, there were still issues—particularly on my final day. After my procedure had finished, I waited around 1 hour and 30 minutes for a taxi. During this time, a driver who did not speak English arrived and took another couple staying at the same hotel in a 6-seater vehicle, leaving me behind, even though I had travelled with them earlier. I was unsure why I couldn’t join the same ride, and this wasn’t explained to me, which made the situation a bit confusing.
A special thank you to Dr. Sila Solmaz and her team who has been outstanding. She made me feel comfortable, reassured me throughout my treatment, and explained everything clearly. She also stepped in to complete work that was originally planned with another doctor. I would very much like to continue my treatment with her when I return.
Kamil was also excellent—he went above and beyond with communication, regularly checking in and making sure I was okay. His support made a big difference to my overall experience.
There were a few moments where communication could have been clearer, particularly on the day of my implants with Dr. Turhan Bick, as well as during some scheduling delays. At times, things felt a little rushed, and I would have appreciated more explanation during procedures and better updates regarding waiting times.
That said, these issues did not take away from the overall quality of care I received. The team remained professional, and when there were misunderstandings, they were addressed—especially by Dr. Sila, who was very reassuring.
Overall, Dentakay is a great clinic with a strong and caring team. With a bit more consistency in communication and better coordination of transport and scheduling, the experience would be even better. I look forward to returning to complete my treatment
Please sort transport to hotel properly. Dr TB is a good Dr but he should stop rushing patient if he is running late it's fine to be late than to rush.

Jeg har lige fået lavet mit fulde…

Jeg har lige fået lavet mit fulde tandsæt hos Dentakay NISH i Istanbul af Dr. Mert Ozcan , og jeg vil gerne dele min oplevelse.

Jeg kom herned med en ret kompleks opgave overbid, behov for bidløft og forventning om flere rodbehandlinger. Derfor var jeg også kritisk og havde mine forbehold fra start.

Forløbet har været professionelt hele vejen igennem. De laver en grundig scanning og planlægning, før de går i gang, og de forklarer løbende hvad der sker. Jeg valgte selv at opgradere fra 24 til 27 kroner og gik med en bedre type zirconia (Zolid Bion), så prisen steg – men det var mit eget valg så helt fair👍🏻😊

Det endte også med færre rodbehandlinger end først vurderet, 3 istedet for 6 hvilket jeg ser som et godt tegn på, at de ikke laver mere end nødvendigt og jeg fik selvfølgelig penge retur .

Resultatet er blevet meget naturligt virkelige godt – ikke for hvidt, men med spil i farven, præcis som jeg ønskede. Bidet føles stabilt, og jeg har stort set ikke haft smerter undervejs, hvilket faktisk overraskede mig.

Jeg er super meget tilfreds med mit resultat og vil klart anbefale dem ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(Istanbul). Dès le début, j’ai subi beaucoup de stress. La prise en charge était très mauvaise, avec un manque de communication flagrant, des attentes interminables et une perte de temps considérable.

Je suis extrêmement déçue. Trois visites, beaucoup de dépenses, et au final, rien n’a été réglé.

En septembre 2025, on m’a posé une couronne sur un implant. Dès mon retour à la maison, des complications sont apparues : de la nourriture s’accumulait autour de la couronne, au point que je devais l’enlever après chaque repas. Malgré des nettoyages fréquents et rigoureux, ma gencive s’est enflammée, puis infectée, et la couronne a commencé à bouger.

Je suis retournée à Istanbul en mars 2026 pour résoudre le problème. On m’a alors dit qu’il fallait tout enlever : l’implant et la couronne. On a tenté de me vendre un bridge, alors même que ma gencive était encore infectée. Finalement après longue discussion avec le chirurgien et dr Elif Melika Gurer on a retiré l’ensemble. Comme j’étais encore sous garantie, j’ai eu énormément de difficultés à obtenir un remboursement.

Le mardi 24 mars, je suis restée à la clinique de 9h du matin à 20h sans obtenir mon remboursement. Ils ont mis plus de 4 heures pour organiser mon transfert à l’hôtel, alors que je suis âgée, malade et que je n’avais pas mangé de la journée. Le lendemain, je suis retournée à la clinique, et il a fallu encore beaucoup de temps et de négociations pour enfin récupérer mon argent. En plus, ils ont tenté de me rembourser le minimum, sans se référer à la facture que j’avais payée quelques mois plus tôt.

Je suis très déçue par leur manque de compassion, leur absence de communication et leur avidité. Leur objectif semble être de faire toujours plus d’argent et de vendre des soins non nécessaires. Le traducteur notamment Abdullah s’ est permis de pousser pour certains traitements dentaires même de donner des informations médicaux erronées probablement pour toucher sa commission.
Et a plusieurs reprises je n avais pas les informations nécessaires et me les transmet dans le couloir.
La traduction était trop rapide lors des rencontres avec le dentiste.

Au final, trois visites à Istanbul depuis le Canada, avec la fatigue, la perte de temps, les longs voyages et d’importantes dépenses, pour repartir sans avoir résolu mon problème dentaire. Mon fils a également vécu une très mauvaise expérience, notamment sur les prix annoncés.

Je pense que la prise en charge chez Dentakay s’est beaucoup détériorée par rapport au début. Elle est plus en ce moment basée sur l’argent, sans transparence sur les coûts. Pour un même travail, les prix varient d’un client à l’autre selon la tête du client, son lieu de résidence ou sa capacité à négocier. Les prix ne sont pas affichés, et on ne vous remet pas de facture détaillée, même si vous la demandez. Ils modifient les prix après devis, et une fois sur place, ils ajoutent plusieurs milliers d euros en vous mettant devant le fait accompli.

Nous avons croisé plusieurs clients insatisfaits sur place. Cette clinique n’est plus à recommander. Si vous y allez malgré tout, vérifiez tout, faites tout consigner par écrit et négociez au maximum.

Votre traitement dans notre clinique remonte à 2020. Comme pour toute procédure dentaire, des contrôles réguliers et un suivi sont essentiels afin de maintenir les résultats et de traiter d’éventuels problèmes au fil du temps. En l’absence de suivi régulier au cours des années suivant votre traitement, il est cliniquement possible que de nouvelles conditions apparaissent et nécessitent des soins supplémentaires.

Concernant votre récente visite en mars 2026, nous tenons à préciser qu’elle n’était pas annoncée et qu’elle a été organisée sans coordination préalable. Par conséquent, aucun rendez-vous ni service de transfert n’avait été programmé à l’avance. Malgré cela, notre équipe a fait tout son possible pour vous accueillir dans un planning déjà complet, tout en veillant à ce que les patients ayant des rendez-vous prévus soient pris en charge à l’heure.

Nous comprenons que le temps d’attente puisse être frustrant. Cependant, dans les cas où les visites ne sont pas planifiées à l’avance, des retards peuvent malheureusement survenir. Des alternatives, telles que le recours à un transport indépendant, étaient également possibles pendant cette période.

Concernant vos visites dans notre clinique :

Votre première visite en 2020 était un choix personnel de recevoir un traitement à l’étranger
Votre deuxième visite concernait un traitement supplémentaire, également choisi par vous
Votre visite la plus récente a été effectuée sans préavis, ce qui a naturellement impacté l’organisation et la planification

Malgré ces éléments, nous souhaitons souligner que :

Vos préoccupations ont été traitées en détails par notre équipe médicale
Un remboursement a été effectué le jour même, bien que les procédures standard nécessitent généralement 3 à 5 jours ouvrables
Un service de transport a été organisé pour vous malgré l’absence de réservation préalable
Notre équipe est restée coopérative et à votre écoute tout au long de votre visite

Nous nous engageons à traiter tous nos patients de manière équitable et respectueuse, tout en maintenant une organisation structurée qui prend en compte chacun. Cela implique que les patients ayant pris rendez-vous à l’avance doivent être priorisés en conséquence. Il ne serait ni approprié ni équitable envers les autres patients de contourner les rendez-vous planifiés ou de réorganiser des traitements déjà programmés afin de répondre à une visite non annoncée. Nous veillons à respecter le temps et les engagements de chaque patient, et des exceptions ne peuvent donc pas être faites au détriment de ceux qui ont suivi la procédure de réservation appropriée.

Very disappointed in the customer service

If you want genuine care and quality service, Dentakay is NOT the clinic to go to. I was extremely disappointed having spent over USD $1000 to fly to Istanbul, only to be told that they could not do the implant we’ve discussed.

Before confirming my appointment, I sent my pictures and a recent x-ray to the agent. After which I was told the dentist looked over and proposed a plan for an implant. I asked about the permanent tooth that was stuck in my gum horizontally and was told they would not remove it, they would just put the implant in.

I made the appointment and I traveled to Istanbul, and on the day of my appointment the clinic was packed with patients and staff walking around, looking flustered. Listening to some of the customers in the waiting room, they’ve waiting for hours without no updates. It seemed like they were clearly taking on more than they could handle.

When it was my turn, they took the same type of x-ray that I already sent from my local dentist and told me the implant would not be possible as the space is too small and they would need to extract the permanent tooth in the gum. They suggested I shaved down the teeth on the sides of the gap to put a bridge and expected me to make that decision right then and there.

On top of that, there was no consideration as to the accommodation, no apology. I had to find another place to stay that same day or pay over USD $900 for the 5 day stay at the hotel that was supposed to be included in the package. Mind you, this was more than half the price of the full package. I guess the hotel stay was much more expensive than the actual procedure.

The agent and security came running after me when I walked out of the clinic refusing to pay for a one day stay at the hotel. They said even though I never spent any time at the hotel, I still have to pay for the first day since they already made the reservation. As if I didn’t pay enough to come all the way to Istanbul for nothing.

Zero stars for your customer service, Dentakay. It’s not the fact that you didn’t say upfront that you could not do the implant. It’s the way you handled it.

Reading some of the other reviews, it seems like your strategy is to get people to come to Istanbul even though the surgery that they look forward to is not possible and then you break the news and expect them to agree to something else, just so you can get business. If that is in fact true, it’s shameful.

We would like to clarify several important points regarding your case.

As is standard in dental care, a clinical examination is required upon arrival to confirm a final treatment plan. Initial assessments based on X-rays and photographs are useful for guidance, but they cannot replace an in-person evaluation by our senior doctors.

In your specific case, implant planning depends mainly on the clinical condition at the time of examination. In some situations, a tooth may need to be extracted before an implant can be placed, as implants require suitable bone and space conditions for long-term success. Such decisions are only made when clinically necessary and always in the patient’s best interest.

We also emphasize that no treatment is ever carried out without the patient’s full understanding and consent, and all options are clearly explained before proceeding.

Regarding the hotel, as you chose not to proceed with the treatment after the in-clinic assessment, the services already arranged required settlement. This includes the hotel reservation made on your behalf for the first night, which had been pre-booked as part of your treatment package. Thus since the treatment was not proceeded with, the associated costs could not be covered under the package terms anymore and you were required to settle it, but unfortunately you avoided payment and left the clinic hastily.

Lastly, we understand your disappointment regarding the change in treatment plan; however, this adjustment was made strictly based on clinical findings, with your safety and long-term outcome as the priority.
