Duca Del Cosma. Shoddy workmanship partially redeemed by a 20% credit
Bought a pair of Duca Del Cosma Delago golf boots just over 2 years ago. They were very stylish, comfortable, warm & waterproof. Unfortunately last winter they started annoyingly squeaking. I then discovered recently from my shoemaker that the metal shank in the sole had broken & they were irreparable. I contacted Duca Del Cosma customer service. They said they could offer neither a replacement nor a part credit against a new pair. Don’t buy them first hold whatever you do. It’s all show & no substance. Who wants to buy a pair of golf boots for £200, get 40 wears & find they are broken due to bad, shoddy manufacture? Buy a reliable brand - not a slipshod, poorly manufactured one like this. They really ARE the worst!!
Since then, I should point out Duca Del Cosma have offered me a 20% credit against a new pair. It by no means makes up for the fact that even if out of warranty a product of this supposed quality should not fail after 40 or so outings over 2 winters. However given how comfortable & waterproof they were, I may very well go for another pair using the credit in the hope my previous experience was just a one off manufacturing flaw, which hopefully will not be repeated.

Hi Robert,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and we're truly sorry to hear about the problem with your Delago golf boots. This is not what we want any of our customers to experience, and we completely understand your frustration.
We're also sorry that your contact with our customer service didn't leave you feeling supported. We would really like to look into this personally and see what we can do to help. Could you please email us at info@ducadelcosma.com with your order details and a few photos of the boots? Our team will get back to you as soon as possible. We hope to have the chance to make this right.

The packet came on time and beautifully packed in a typical Italian style. However I had to return the Golf shoes as it did not fit me properly. The return was easy and without any hassle. This i expect from a properly run company

Svar fra Duca del Cosma | Italian Golf Evolution
Hi, we're sorry for the delay. Your shipping carrier experienced a backlog over the past few days that pushed back some deliveries, and your order is now on its way. We'll reach out to you directly via email with your tracking details and next steps. Thank you for your patience, and apologies for the inconvenience.
I ordered 2 pairs of golf shoes
I ordered 2 pairs of golf shoes. I've been buying Duca del Cosma at my golf club for years and I know my size. One pair was perfect and really just a new colourway for me. The 2nd pair were too big and had no support and were inferior. I signed up to return the 2nd pair for a refund but then came the threats - if I sought a refund I would pay to send the shoes back and I would be reduced by 30% on my payment price. I have sent the shoes via UPS (€20) which I paid and I also ordered a 2nd pair of the acceptable shoes for which I will now pay another €10. How can this behaviour be legal? This transaction is not yet completed but it is bad behaviour from a company with a good product. Liz Hurley

Te ruim bij de hiel
