Great service on a personal level from Sinead.

After 26 days i paid the insurance, still I don't have a disk.
I sent a lots email and everytime make a scuse. Now I go on my sollicitors and after I see if i have soon the disk. Please is better pay more and not go in Arachas please stay too far.

Dealt with Jack for my Market trading renewal, very nice and really helpful getting it the insurance sorted for me great customer service which is rare these days. Will be dealing with arachas every year from now on!

While I had difficulty getting through, once I got the agent (Clodagh Kenny) I was excellent and very efficiently dealt with. Two queries, one required additional follow up, completed and within time scale indicated. No problem to agent, no excuses, very knowledgeable and explained simply!!! Very satisfied.

If I could, I would give zero stars.

I am extremely disappointed with Arachas / Study & Protect following the closure of Erin College in Cork, Ireland.

My 25-week English course was supposed to start on 5 October 2026, but I haven’t attended a single class. I call and email almost every day, but I still haven’t received a proper answer or a timeline for my transfer.

I am in Ireland paying rent and living expenses without being able to study, find another school independently, or apply for my IRP because I need the new school’s documentation.

I am currently staying as a tourist, and I may have to wait up to three months for a new school while my immigration deadline keeps approaching.

I have also requested a refund so I can find another school myself, but I still have no solution.

I came from Brazil to study, and now I am stuck in this situation through no fault of my own. I need a clear answer and an urgent solution: a confirmed school transfer or my refund.

Extremely disappointing service – No solution after weeks of waiting

I am extremely disappointed with the way Arachas / Study & Protect has been handling the situation following the closure of Erin College in Cork, Ireland.

My 25-week English course was supposed to start on 28 September 2026. Unfortunately, the school closed, and I have not been able to attend a single class.

Since then, I have repeatedly contacted those responsible for my Learner Protection Insurance, hoping to receive a clear solution. However, the responses have always been essentially the same: students will be relocated to another school.

But when? Which school? How much longer are we expected to wait?

There is no clear timeline, no confirmed start date, and no concrete information about when this situation will finally be resolved.

I travelled all the way from Brazil to Ireland to study English, and I continue paying for accommodation, food, and other living expenses while being unable to study.

This situation is also affecting my immigration arrangements and my ability to move forward with my plans in Ireland.

I understand that the closure of Erin College was not necessarily the insurer's fault. However, the lack of clear communication, transparency, and a reasonable timeline for resolving the situation is extremely frustrating.

Learner Protection Insurance is supposed to protect students when situations like this happen. Yet, after weeks of waiting, I still have no solution.

I have requested a refund so that I can arrange another school independently, but I have not received a clear resolution.

This situation has become completely unacceptable and unsustainable.

I sincerely hope Arachas / Study & Protect takes this situation seriously and provides an immediate, concrete solution instead of continuing to leave students waiting indefinitely.

Students deserve answers, transparency, and respect.

I have been dealing with Arachas (previously Glennons) over the past 20 years (maybe more) for both home and car insurance. While my experience has generally been positive, I would like to highlight the professional manner in which Craig Daly managed my recent car insurance renewal. He explained some changes very clearly and obviously has an excellent knowledge of the best policy to match the customer requirements. Well done Craig and thanks for your help.

Quick and easy renewal
With questions answered and queries resolved by pleasant staff member. The only thing was the broker fee of €85 when the renewal itself was €125 representing 65% but I expect it’s minimum regardless of the premium. Not a deal breaker as service was good , but maybe this could have been pointed out

Sinead Swayne & Ciara Shinkwin couldn't have been more helpful and such friendly individuals to deal with. They worked through obstacles for me at a swift pace so thank you ladies for all the help :).

Spoke with Jordan and he was very friendly and helpful ,he rang me back as I requested to sort out the policy
