I recently encountered the same issue as DB re Audio Description - (my Google search hadn’t turned up DB’s post). I contacted Allavsoft support who responded within an hour with the solution! Definitely worth the paid version. I bought in 2018 and this is my second support ticket and both times very impressed.

It downloads the AUDIO DESCRIPTION (for the blind) over the video. So you get an annoying narrator constantly describing what is happening on the video.

Have used Allavsoft for some time and have found it reliable and fast Certainly not as clunky as some others

The couple of times there has been a glitch, the Allav team have replied back very quickly, and problem solved

I used the free version for a while, then paid for the Lifetime license. I use it primarily for YouTube videos, but it's useful for so many other downloads. One great advantage of the paid version is the ability to download YT Playlists. A Playlist can contain dozens of videos, and Allavsoft will download them all with a single click. If it stops working, check first that something you installed isn’t causing a conflict, such as a firewall. Sometimes YouTube or Windows changes things that aggravatingly break Allavsoft usage. But an email to Allavsoft customer service has always quickly found a fix for the problem, usually with an update. My only complaint is that the Check for Updates link always tells me I have the latest version, but when asking for help, there is always an update provided. Registered users should be able to download an update without bothering customer service. But, again, customer service has always quickly responded and has been helpful in correcting whatever broke. I use Allavsoft daily, and it is the best downloader I’ve found.

I am with accounting background, no multimedia expertise and never expected that I can use allavsoft so often because it is simply & fast for non-prof like me without special knowledge on software or multimedia.

The customer service is very helpful replying every inquiry in simply language.

I love the software and use it almost everyday.

I have some experience as a customer of various companies and products, as an enthusiast of flight simulators. In general, they all provide good customer service, but none with the speed and efficiency of Allvsoft, as demonstrated in the two or three times I have used their services.

I am a user of this software for 4 years or so. I have around for a while and have interacted with many companies over my life. This company is the best company I have encountered. The software has outperformed my expectation and the service is outstanding.

I have been using Allavsoft for a number of years mostly for YouTube downloads and downloads from two TV stations here in Australia. I come from a sales and service background when I was working. I have to say they are the best support company that I have ever come across on the Internet. One guy, David has been extremely helpful these past few weeks in getting to the bottom of my issues which as of today have been fixed.

My Allavsoft does not download anything anymore not even YouTube and Allvsoft does not seem to be able fix it either.
When I first bought it it worked superbly now it is useless

And this has been going on for weeks now and allvsoft engineers and they just don't seem to be able to fix it

My problems started when YouTube was Updated now it has been just a waste of money so I cannot recommend it

I have been a registered user of Allavsoft for over 7 years now. The software is always being updated and maintained throughout this time. It has been very effective at assisting me to retrieve multimedia content which is embedded in websites such as Vimeo, GAIA, and many other places. Communication via email with their support team has always been very responsive and fast. This been an excellent piece of software for anyone that likes to archive videos or other multimedia content like myself. One of the best tools out there after having tried many different options over the last 10+ years.

Allavsoft is my number one go-to software when it comes to downloading files from the net ( videos and so on ).
First, it's very easy to use, it's constantly updated and makes downloading tricky medias a complete breeze.
Second, it's very effective : it allows you to convert files after you downloaded them and you can queue all the downloads very easily, I also really love the fact that you can extract audio from videos in just a few clicks.
At last, the support is just amazing ! I have never found myself stuck with Allavsoft when a functionality was broken ( because of websites updating and so on ... ), they are quick to respond, quick to fix the problem, my experience with them has always been great ! Really awesome team !

to sum up, I have yet to find a better alternative to this piece of software ( and I started using it back in april 2019 to give you an idea ).
I'm so glad I made this purchase back then and still am to this day :)

I think that if you are on the edge, it's worth considering at least a try and test with a few websites, it's a VERY useful tool, it speaks for itself !

Ive been using Allavsoft for the Mac for around 2 years now. Its been an amazing piece of software which has enabled to to Download from my Spotify account and Youtube account at fast speeds. Allavsoft is dependable and easy to use. The support team for Allavsoft are great, for any issues they respond very quickly, sometimes within hours. Now my Macbook has been switched to a Windows PC.
I look forward to many more years using Allavsoft. Thank you Guys for such a great and reasonably priced piece of software.

I have been asked to write a review of my experience of Allavsoft. This is a thing I have absolutely no hesitation in doing after approximately 15 years of using this very fine product.
It has been a very easy and useful product to use during this time, enabling me to store permanent records of favourite videos on my computer for ready access even after the original has disappeared from YouTube.
These videos include the full range of YouTube product from sheer entertainment to educational & instructional videos. This has enabled me to collect and archive these videos for convenient later use.
Secondly the customer experience of Allavsoft, is also at a very high level as well, with rapid response times and via email, and a team with persistence in dealing with whatever problem there is, until resolution.
I commend Allavsoft to all who are considering using it as an effective and convenient download platform.

I love Allavsoft. I have been using it since 2017. I use it primarily to download mp3s which I use in my car via USB. I travel through regional Australia where there is often no wifi, internet or even FM radio. Even phone reception is scarce. My USB stick provides me my music. But I also use it to download tutorials and recaps of movies or TV series. Which can be used where there is no wifi.
