SCAMMERS!

I had a flight scheduled on the 4th of January that they cancelled due to weather conditions and they are hiding behind the fact that I booked the flight through Booking.com and they have refunded them the money already but Booking.com says the opposite and instead of providing proof of payment, AirSerbia stopped replying inquiries and emails.
They are a bunch of thieves. AVOID!!!

Fraud problem with air serbias website

Worst airline. My father works at an airport in serbia and air serbias website is horrible, air serbia only lets family members go with the airline.
Well…………………people have found a loophole,.
People can buy tickets from air serbia and giving them to their friends or selling them to get money.
Once the fraud problem is fixed, you can buy tickets from air serbias website.
Disclamer: Dont do fraud in airports when buying tickets……or else you can get banned for years.

Fehlerhafte Webseite und 0 Kulanz

Ich wollte einen Flug für den 28.03. buchen. Bei der Umstellung von Hin- und Rückflug auf einfache Strecke wurde jedoch das Datum und der Kalender zurückgesetzt, womit ich einen Flug am 28.02. gebucht habe.

Das passiert bei den Webseiten anderer Fluggesellschaften nicht, dort wird das gewählte Datum beibehalten.

Obwohl ich innerhalb von 24h auf den Fehler hingewiesen habe, gab es keine Kulanz. Geld weg. Flug verfällt. Erste und letzte mal bei Air Serbia.

No response to compensation request in a month almost

I missed my connected flight to Gothenburg due to delay. Since there was an amazingly long queue, I bought my new flight ticket from Belgrade to Sweden myself. Therefore I applied AirSerbia to compensate that expense but I have not received any response yet. Terrible experience in all aspects.

Worse airline

Worse airline. If you need to reach their customer service for any reason you are UNABLE. They do not answer. They owe me money and I have been trying to contact them for 4 months and no luck!

This company makes Ryanair looks like the best air company ever!
Booking Reference FUSWQN.
Looking as a company with just make money not thinking about clients.
150 pounds I paid for ticket 30 pounds for prebooking in Friday.
In weekends did not check my emails. Monday I need pay 50 pounds more, because prebooking just for 12 hours.
Call center just could tell you "SORRY", nothing help. Extremely not recommending this Company.

20 Stunden Flugeverspätung, schlechte Informationen am belgrader Flughafen, keine Versorgung mit Snacks während der 20ig stündigen Verspätung. Und dann gibt es verhöhnende 11 Euro Gutschrift. Nie wieder Air Serbia

Kundendienst = Abwimmeln, Claims = Funkstille

Air Serbia war für mich ein kompletter Reinfall. Verspätungen, Anschluss verpasst, Chaos – und wenn es dann wirklich darauf ankommt, kommt null echte Unterstützung. Statt Lösungen gibt’s nur Floskeln und Weiterreichen. Am Ende bin ich nur durch den Goodwill einer anderen Airline bzw. mit Bahn nach Hause gekommen.

Richtig schlimm: der Umgang danach. Claims eingereicht, es wird „60 Tage Bearbeitungszeit“ genannt – und dann passiert… nichts. Ruft man an, wird man wieder auf E-Mail verwiesen. E-Mail? Schon längst geschrieben. Das fühlt sich an wie System: abwimmeln, aussitzen, hoffen, dass der Kunde aufgibt. Nie wieder.

Air Serbia Denied My Legal EU261 Compensation – First Class Service Was a Letdown

I flew with Air Serbia from Istanbul to Paris via Belgrade on 19 September 2025 in first class. The connecting flight from Belgrade to Paris was severely delayed, causing me to arrive almost 24 hours late. Despite paying for first-class, I was forced to stay overnight in a poor economy-class hotel, which is completely unacceptable.

According to EU Regulation 261/2004, I am legally entitled to compensation for this delay. I submitted a claim through AirHelp and then directly to Air Serbia, yet the airline rejected my claim, ignoring the legal timeframe and my clear entitlement. AirHelp is now pursuing legal action on my behalf.

This experience was extremely disappointing. The combination of severe delay, downgraded hotel accommodation, first-class service not delivered, and refusal to honor my compensation claim makes this airline unreliable, even for premium passengers.

I strongly advise future travelers to be aware that Air Serbia may deny legitimate claims, and the first-class experience may not meet expectations.

Do not book with air serbia

Terrible experience with Air Serbia.

I was given a 40-minute connection and explicitly assured by a stewardess that the next aircraft would wait. It did not. I missed my connection due to Air Serbia’s misinformation.

I was then rebooked with a five-hour wait, rerouted via Istanbul with another four-hour layover, and my final flight to Valencia was delayed by 1.5 hours. The disruption was extreme.

The lounge voucher provided was useless: poor quality, almost no food, and the lounge closed before my next flight.

Severe miscommunication, long delays, and inadequate passenger care. I do not recommend Air Serbia.

Air Serbia is an absolute nightmare

Air Serbia is an absolute nightmare. My baggage was destroyed, my flight delayed, and despite repeated follow-ups, they couldn’t care less. Customer service is as bad as their fleet – incompetent, indifferent, and unprofessional. This blatant disregard for passengers’ rights, in violation of the Montreal Convention and EC 261/2004, is shocking. Avoid these lines at all costs. Case nr 32865

Very dissatisfied as a Business Class…

Very dissatisfied as a Business Class passenger. During the control after customs and the scanner, the security worker opens my suitcase and takes out the desandorans that was there by mistake, but after that she decided to search all my hand luggage, turn it out - by the way, she is very rude and has a condescending tone, throws all my things out and leaves me to put them together myself. the bottom of the bottom - tickets paid for €2000

Meine Erfahrung mit Air Serbia war leider äußerst enttäuschend 🤷🏻‍♂️

Beim Rückflug wurde mein Koffer massiv beschädigt. Es handelte sich nicht um einen kleinen Kratzer, sondern um einen klaren Schaden, der den Koffer praktisch unbrauchbar gemacht hat. Selbstverständlich habe ich den Schaden ordnungsgemäß reklamiert und alle erforderlichen Unterlagen eingereicht.

Was danach folgte, war schlicht frustrierend:
Keine zufriedenstellende Lösung, kein Entgegenkommen, keine Entschädigung.
Nicht einmal eine teilweise Kostenübernahme – beispielsweise 50 % des Kofferpreises – wurde angeboten. Stattdessen erhielt ich nur ausweichende Antworten, die dem tatsächlichen Schaden in keiner Weise gerecht wurden.

Ich erwarte von einer Airline zumindest ein Mindestmaß an Kundenservice, Verantwortung und Kulanz, insbesondere wenn der Schaden eindeutig während des Transports entstanden ist. Dass hier überhaupt keine Lösung angeboten wurde, ist für mich nicht nachvollziehbar und enttäuschend.

Aufgrund dieser Erfahrung kann ich Air Serbia leider nicht weiterempfehlen. Vertrauen und Kundenorientierung sehen für mich anders aus.

Exceptional service at AirSerbia from Athens to Belgrad as connecting flight

I had the pleasure of flying with AirSerbia (A319) and I must say that it was one of the most professional flight experiences I have ever had. from booking to landing, everything was superbly organized and the service was simply first class. The staff was nice, and really helpful. Maybe I did not have a chance to have a bad experience yet, but for now I have only praise. .

The AirSerbia staff is incredibly professional. The crew on board was always attentive and courteous!
Overall, I can only warmly recommend AirSerbia. For those who value high levels of professionalism, luxury and excellent service, AirSerbia is definitely the right choice.

Everything was smooth and nice. Even with 50min transit in Belgrad (and by the departure delays in Athens airport only 5 min Transit time in Belgrad) there were no issues. The next connecting flight to Dusseldorf waited direct next to the park position from the first flight and as i by the gate for Dusseldorf arrived one floor over, this was still not open yet!

True Odyssey from Athens to Stockholm

I booked a flight from Stockholm to Athens and back with a layover in Belgrade (50 and 40 minutes layover time). I knew the layover time was rough, but checked and saw that Belgrade airport is fairly small and thought it was okay. I didn't check trustpilot before, else I would have not done it.

Trip to Athens was the better one, but still very stressful. My flight to Belgrade got delayed while everyone was already seated in the plane and I was running for my life to reach the plane to Athens (I was the last person (they luckily waited) and closed it immediately after me. Staff at the gate was really friendly and on all 4 flights the most positive goes out to the cabin crew. Friendly and giving their best to serve the customers. My friends on a flight from Prague to Belgrade (where we were planning to meet), didn't make it as their plane got delayed for an unknown time (they booked a completly different flight with a different airline at their own expanse and hope that they get refunded by Air Serbia).

The trip back was way worse. It was a combination of multiple external issues (Greek plane communication crashed, Belgrade snow and Air Serbias lack of skill). First flight got delayed multiple times without clear communication, on Flightradar it was clear that the plane has not even started from the previous airport on the way to the current. In the end 7 hour delay with a clearly missed second flight. Once arrived in Belgrad at 1 am, pure chaos. 400 people stuck in a queue to get there new flight set up, another queue for a free hotel. Terrible and clearly understaffed for the chaos at the time (not just the Athens flight, but many others as well). Luckily there was some stuff realizing that it does not make sense to keep the order correct (baggage drop, check in, ...) and helped people at different places as well without discussing, but not all staff was like that. Some kept resisting to push you to the huge queue. I feel sorry for the people stranded there the whole night.

In the end I got a flight, that was not on the original flight list, seemed like they made something happen. But of course that one got delayed for more than 2 hours as well. Common pattern.

In the end, I will never ever use Air Serbia again, I am also not planning to use the plane to Belgrade in case I will ever visit Serbia. But again, love goes out to the staff that realized the situation, stayed cool and just did the best they could.
